Welcome to the website for the Friends of Milpitas Library, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping out the Milpitas Community Library.

September Book Sale

Plan ahead -- our September book sale is scheduled for September 26th through the 28th. Great for students needing books for back to school, and everyone else as well!

June Book Sale Results

The Friends would like to thank everybody to helped out to make the June Book Sale a success, as well as all the patrons who donated books. We raised over $6,000 to go towards Library programming and maintinence.

Donations and volunteering

Donations are always welcome. All languages are accepted. They will either be used in the large book sales or sold throughout the year in the inside book sale racks by the check-out counter. You can drop off gently-used books and multimedia to the drop-off box in the library. The box is located near the sliding doors, to the right of the Milpitas Historical Room. Please NO cassettes, magazines, or computer books older than 2004.

If you wish to volunteer for the Friends, call the library at 262-1171 and leave your name and phone number so a member of FOML can contact you. You may also sign up to volunteer at a specific book sale by contacting the Adult Reference Desk and placing your name on the list to help.
