Who we are
The Friends of the Milpitas Library is an active non-profit organization dedicated to helping out the Milpitas Community Library. There are over 200 Friends composed of community residents and library patrons who show their support for the Milpitas Library by being part of this organization. Membership is open to all.
The Friends' main source of fund-raising is book sales. They run an on-going book sale near the check-out desk of the Library and big three-day sales (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) three times a year. These sales are in January, June and September. (Due to the opening of the new library in January 2009, the sales dates in 2009 were shifted to March, June and September.)
If you want to help the friends, check out our volunteer and donation information, or to become a member, check out our membership page.
