Successful January 2012 Book Sale

The Friends of the Milpitas Library would like to thank the many volunteers who helped with the January book sale.
Many of you sorted books, set up tables and worked the 3-day sale.
The Friends raised $7,915 to continue sponsoring library programs for 2012.

Library's 2012 Wish List

On January 12th, 2012, Linda Arbaugh, community librarian, presented the Milpitas Library's 2012 Wish List. After discussion, the Friends Board unanimously approved the $51,225 wish list.
$27,000 was earmarked for programs, $12,300 for special purchases, $8225 for miscellaneous projects and supplies, and $3,000 for donations.
This money is made available entirely through the efforts of volunteers.
The Friends of the Milpitas Library would like to thank all volunteers for their time and hard work.

- January 27th, 28th and 29th
- June 1st, 2nd and 3rd
- September 28th, 29th and 30th
