Book Sale

General Meeting

The next general meeting of the Friends will be on Thursday, January 10th at 7:00 PM at the Library. All members of the Friends are invited to attend.

Donations

Donations are always welcome. All languages accepted. They will either be used in the tri-annual book sale or sold throughout the year in the inside book sale racks by the check-out counter. You can drop off gently-used books and multimedia to the drop-off box in the library. The box is located near the sliding doors, to the right of the Milpitas Historical Room.

There are ongoing book sales in the library near the check-out counter. Several carousels and shelves of used books are located to the left of the check-out counter, near the library entrance.

Friends' Tattler: Winter 2007

September Book Sale

The September Book Sale brought in $5,900 for the Milpitas Community Library. We surpassed our June sale by a thousand dollars. This money is made available entirely through the efforts of volunteers. We are grateful to all individuals who volunteered their time during this book sale.

If you wish to join this group of volunteers, call the library at 262-1171 and leave your name and phone number so a member of FOML can contact you. You may also sign up to volunteer at a specific book sale by contacting the Adult Reference Desk and placing your name on the list to help.

Donations

10,000 used Chinese comic books were recently donated to the Friends. It will be sold at the January sale.

Our next big book sale is coming up in January and we are always in need of your donations.

Please NO cassettes, magazines, or computer books older than 2004.
