Volunteering
If you wish to volunteer for library book sales, call the library at (408) 262-1171 ext. 3616 and leave your name and phone number so a member of the Friends of the Milpitas Library can contact you. You may also sign up to volunteer at the information desk upstairs on the 2nd floor.
Donating Books
Donations are always welcome. They will either be used in the semi-annual booksale or, if in good condition, may be sold throughout the year in the inside booksale racks by the check-out counter. You can drop off gently-used books and multimedia to the drop-off slot in the library. The donation slot is located in the first level of the parking garage, to the left of the library entrance (near the stairs) and is clearly marked as donations.
If you find that the slot is full or you have a large number of books to donate, please bring the books inside and inquire at the accounts desk -- they should be able to drop the books off in our sorting room.
